Carnatic vocal music is an Indian classical music tradition that involves singing compositions with precise melody, rhythm, and emotional expression. It places a strong emphasis on improvisation and creativity while adhering to the rules and structures of ragas and talas.
Join us at Fremont Main Library to explore the fundamental vocal exercises in Carnatic Music. Get ready to learn Sarali Varisai and Jantai Varisai and maybe some songs that use them.
