Learn easy yoga postures and mindfulness techniques.

Feeling stressed? Try yoga! Beginners and children over 7 years old are welcome.
To get the most out of the yoga practice, come with an empty stomach and wear comfortable loose clothing. Please bring your own yoga mat & water bottle.

No registration required. Attendees must complete an activity waiver form upon arriving at the event in order to participate. Program repeats on the 2nd & 4th Thursdays of the month (with exceptions in November & December).

Akila Padmanabhan is a yoga teacher pursuing a diploma in yoga therapy. She began her yoga journey over 5 years ago and has been teaching wellness yoga, prenatal yoga and therapy yoga classes for kids and adults.


Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests!
