Raspberry Pi Programming Class

Transform Ideas into Reality with Python

Presented by Alameda County Library

Recommended for middle and high schoolers with Python knowledge.
Bring your laptop and curiosity, and let's imagine, create, and innovate! Transform ideas into reality with Raspberry Pi, sensors, and Python.

Knowledge of basic Python is required. You must take a brief assessment before your seat can be confirmed. Registrants who do not complete the assessment before 4/13/24 will be removed from the registrants list. Waitlisted students are welcome to take the assessment and be ready to fill seats released from cancellations, but their seats are not guaranteed.

ADMISSION STEPS

1. Two sessions are offered: 10:15am-11:15am, or 11:30am-12:30pm. Register for only one session you would like to attend. If you are registered for both sessions, the library staff will cancel one of them on your behalf. The registration is for the entire series of 5 classes.
2. Stop by the Fremont Main Library anytime during library open hours before 4/13/24 and request the assessment at the Children's Information Desk.
3. Work on the assessment in the Children's Area.
4. Turn in your assessment to the Children's Desk after you are done.
5. Your assessment will be reviewed by the instructor, and admission will be confirmed a few days before the class start date.

An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) business days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or [email protected].
