Debate Details—October 1, 2024, is the scheduled Vice Presidential Nominees' Debate between Governor, Tim Walz, and Senator, JD Vance. At this time, the topics for the debate have not been revealed. The moderators for the NBC event are CBS Evening News Anchor and Managing Editor, Norah O'Donnell and CBS News chief foreign affairs correspondent Margaret Brennan. Debate Time: 9 P.M. eastern and 6 P.M. pacific.
The rules for the debate are yet to be announced.
Albany Library’s goal is to offer the public an opportunity to hear the debate on October 1, 2024, in a neutral environment, where they can gather information without being influenced. There will be no discussion after the event is over.
Seating: First Come Serve Basis.
