Acting - Fundamentals and Techniques - Teens

This course explores the art of acting in a playful, encouraging, collaborative atmosphere, and offers a dynamic and engaging introduction to the craft of acting. Develop a basic understanding of acting fundamentals through Stanislavski-based practice. Using short scenes and dramatic literature, special focus will be on: warming up and being ready to play, encouraging students to make strong, action-driven choices that are dramatically effective, finding pivotal events in a scene, and creating dynamic obstacles. If you have a little experience on stage or feel you are ready to learn to more deeply make characters, this course is for you.
