Students will learn the basic techniques of the sport of Boxing, including proper stance and movement, proper punching technique as well as punch avoidance including blocks, slips, and ducks

Each 45 minute class will begin with a warm-up, followed by technique lessons, practice drills, cardio and strength conditioning, and stretching exercises. Boxing techniques will be practiced using bags, pads, and other equipment under supervision of the instructor. Curriculum will not include sparring.

This class is for people ages 16 and up.

*Boxing gloves and wraps are not included in the course registration fee. Adults are required to have both gloves and mitts, which can be purchased for $20/each from instructor at Dedrick at [email protected]
