This program is designed to help facilitate the transition to high school and focuses on developing leadership skills and civic engagement. We emphasize effective communication skills, life skills training, critical thinking, conflict resolution, nutrition, violence prevention, community service projects, and many more important topics. Participants may have an opportunity to receive a stipend for full participation. Completion of 15 hours of volunteer service is required. A mandatory Parent & Participant Orientation will be on August 29th at MLK Jr. Youth Services Center/ YAP.

Note: To participate in session two, student must be enrolled in session one.
