Animal Robotics - LEGO - Programming

A unique program for young engineers to introduce them to LEGO Robotics with the work of the most ingenious engineer of all time – Mother Nature! We will build, program and explore clever robot models of different animals - Birds, Lions, Monkeys, Gorillas, Frogs, Giraffes, Horses, Parrots etc. Students will learn basics of scratch programming through a drag and drop icon based program. Students will then build LEGO® animal models featuring motors and sensors, program their models through their own code and explore a series of cross curricular activities such as music and animal sound creation, using LEGO® Education’s premier WeDo® LEGO® robotics program.Each lesson plan will be tied to a craft and hands on activity related to the animal build. Price includes free pre-care drop off at 8:30 AM.
