Academic Summer Camp

An academic summer camp is a specialized program designed for students to continue learning and exploring during the summer break. Our camps offer a variety of courses and activities that provide students with opportunities to develop new skills and knowledge in an exciting and supportive environment.We focus on subjects such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics, writing, and the arts. The curriculum is designed to be challenging and intellectually stimulating, and may include hands-on projects, discussions, and interactive activities. In addition to classroom instruction, a-CAM offers a range of recreational and social activities that allow students to have fun and connect with their peers. It includes field trips, games, talent shows, and other special events.Themes:​06/03 – 06/07 Animator's Adventure: Dive into Disney: Kids will embark on a magical journey, exploring the art of animation and creating their own Disney-inspired characters and stories.06/10 – 06/14 Lab Rats: Secrets of the Mad Scientist:  Young scientists will unleash their inner Einstein, conducting thrilling experiments and discovering the secrets of chemistry and physics.06/17 – 06/21 Mystery Masters: Decode with the True Detective:   (Closed on June 19th, open for day camp) Campers become super sleuths, cracking codes, solving puzzles, and learning detective skills.06/24 – 06/28 Safari Explorers: Wild Adventures at SF Zoo:  Adventurous kids will explore the wonders of wildlife, learn about exotic animals at the SF Zoo, and become junior zookeepers for a week.07/01 – 07/05 Culinary Curiosities: The Science of What’s Cookin': Campers will explore culinary science and global cuisines, cooking up delicious dishes from around the world.07/08 – 07/12 Dino Discovery: Journey Through Jurassic Park: Kids will embark on a prehistoric adventure, uncovering the mysteries of dinosaurs and the arctic's icy landscapes through hands-on exploration and scientific discovery.07/15 – 07/19 Frontier Fun: Adventures in the Wild Wild West: Aspiring engineers will step back into the Wild West, designing and building innovative structures, while learning about the ingenuity and challenges of frontier life.07/22 – 07/26 Planet Pioneers: Explore with Global Explorers: Kids will venture into the unknown as Planet Pioneers, exploring space, planets, and the mysteries of the universe, engaging in interactive science activities and experiments to understand the cosmos and imagine future space travel.07/29 – 08/02  Starlight Studio: Shine in Hollywood Week: Aspiring stars will step into the spotlight at Starlight Studio, diving into the glamorous world of Hollywood. They'll explore acting, filmmaking, and scriptwriting, culminating in their own star-studded performance or film project.08/05 – 08/09 Olympic Challengers: Go for Gold at Summer Camp Olympics! : Campers will embrace the spirit of the Olympics, participating in a variety of sports and team-building activities.
