Leader-in-Training

Teens gain leadership skills and work experience as Leaders-In-Training (L.I.T.) in the Camper Cubs, Bull Frogs, Grasshoppers, Sea Turtles, Sunshine Kids, and Adventure Camp day camps. Each two-week session includes training in game leadership, program planning, leading camp songs, participant safety procedures, field trip supervision, and interview techniques. L.I.T. teens will experience first hand camp leadership as they work alongside a Day Camp Leader and go on one field trip. Field trip days may extend past 2:00pm. Field trip opportunity is subject to change. Participation in this program does not guarantee a job in future programs, but participants will benefit from the training and experience. Teens may only register for one session.
