ACT Practice Test - Free Prep - San Ramon Library

The Princeton Review offers a free ACT test prep option. Sign up for a free ACT practice test to discover your strengths and weaknesses.

You must register to attend, twice.  First, register on this site to ensure your seat to this popular program.  Next, register with Princeton Review so that you will be able to take the test.  Princeton Review Registration Information will be emailed to you as soon as you register on this site. 

The practice test will be given at the San Ramon Library on Saturday January 25, 2024, from 1 to 4pm.  The practice test takes 2.5 hours to complete.  Please arrive by 1:00pm (15 minutes early) to the upstairs Program room. Test instruction will begin promptly at 1:15pm.  Late arrivals cannot be accommodated due to the disruption this causes for the proctor and the other students who arrived on time.

The proctor will guide the students through the portal access. Their scores will be available immediately after the test and can be reviewed at home or you can make an appointment with an advisor to review your results at a later date.

NO WALK-IN REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ALLOWED.

EACH STUDENT MUST BRING THEIR OWN CHROMEBOOK/DEVICE/LAPTOP WITH FULL ITERNET ACCESS. DEVICES MUST BE FULLY CHARGED. If your device runs out of battery, we cannot guarantee your student will be able to complete the test with the proctor on site (they may finish at home).  **Power cord should be brought to the test in case.**

Please bring:

• Chromebook/laptop/device fully charged
• Charging cord for your device 
• Calculator.  Calculator is incorporated into the test; however, it is recommended that you bring a calculator your student is familiar using.
• Water bottle (there is a water refill station downstairs, near the restrooms.
• Scratch paper & Pencil (important for the math sections)
