Create and Stitch with Confidence

Learn to sew in the library makerspace! In this beginners workshop, you'll learn the basics of how to use a sewing machine and create a simple project to take home! For tweens and teens, 9yrs to 18yrs, no experience necessary.

Each date covers the same project; please only register for one class per month!

Other workshop dates are available on April 11, 18 or 25.


Reminders:

  • Parents/ legal guardians and participants must complete a "Maker Safety Waiver" and submit before event start-time. Parents are not required to remain present in the library during the class.
  • Please allow amply time for parking and to check in to the event. Spots are held for 15 minutes past the workshop start time. At 3:15 pm open spots are optioned to drop-in students.
  • This class runs 2hrs long. Depending on the participant, they may finish early. Please check in with volunteers or staff if you have questions about pick-up time
