Storytime at Contra Costa County Library

Join the Moraga Library for a special bilingual Día de los Muertos story time. Día de los Muertos is a festival that celebrates and honors departed loved ones. We’ll read stories about the holiday and make a special craft to take home.

Join your friends at Hercules Library for music, rhymes, flannel board stories, and book-centered fun every Saturday! We'll have two identical back-to-back storytimes with limited space in each:

• 10:00-10:30am in the Children's Library (limited to 75 attendees)
• 10:30-11:00am in the Large Conference Room (limited to 65 attendees) 

Library storytime is a great way to help young children develop their early literacy and social skills while building a lifelong love of learning. Plus, it's a lot fun!

Best for children ages 5 and younger with a caregiver, but all ages and abilities are welcome.

Enjoy a selection of board books, picture books, songs and rhymes designed for families and caregivers with children of all ages and abilities. 

Free play follows each storytime offering children and caregivers the opportunity to socialize and interact with each other through our early literacy toys and activities.

Join us for a special BILINGUAL First Saturday Storytime in Spanish AND English by the wonderful Angie.

Come and get your wiggles out with fun songs, finger play, movement, and a couple of good books.

Best suited to children ages 0 to 5 with a caregiver.

Join us at San Pablo Library for family storytime every Monday at 5:15pm followed by free play time! 

Reading stories and singing songs together is a wonderful opportunity for young children to develop early literacy skills and to learn what a fun place the library is!

Read! Talk! Sing! Play! Join us for Storytime and enjoy books, songs, fingerplays, movement and fun. Attending Storytime is a wonderful opportunity for young children to develop language, early literacy and social skills. Participants are welcome to stay for a 15-minute play session at the end of the Storytime.

This Storytime, for children ages 1-5, will have a little something for everyone!
