Storytime at Contra Costa County Library

Fun for the whole family! Family Storytime is a fun combination of storybooks, flannel boards, and songs to strengthen early literacy skills. Most appropriate for ages 3-5, but all ages are welcome. No registration necessary. For special accommodations, please contact the library with 72 hours' notice.

Join us for stories and songs in Spanish and English followed by free play time! Story time at the library reinforces a lifelong love of learning while building language and literacy skills.

Join us for an interactive storytime program for families in a bilingual English/Spanish format.

For children ages 0-5 years old and caregivers. Each storytime lasts approximately 20-30 minutes. After storytime ends, we offer a 30-minute stay-and-play session that allows children and caregivers to meet and interact with our collection of building toys and early literacy activities.

Read! Talk! Sing! Play! Join us for Storytime and enjoy books, songs, fingerplays, movement and fun. Attending Storytime is a wonderful opportunity for young children to develop language, early literacy and social skills.  Participants are welcome to stay for a 15-minute play session at the end of storytime.

This Storytime, for children ages 1-5, will have a little something for everyone.
