Beatles songs continue to stand the test of time. The group’s contribution to the history of 20th century popular music remains unprecedented and unchallenged. In a presentation on the group’s groundbreaking style and lasting influence, musician Dulais Rhys outlines the history of the group’s formation and focuses on their songs, influences, form, stylistic development and legacy. The talk includes musical examples, an audio-visual presentation and audience interaction – singing along is highly encouraged!
