In this course, players will explore a blocky, procedurally-generated 3D world, discover and extract raw materials, craft tools, and build structures or earthworks. Minecraft is the perfect avenue for designers and game builders to explore the basics of design, engineering and computational thinking, and work on their problem-solving skills while developing these out-of-the-world virtual environments. In this course, we harvest the love kids have for constructing worlds in Minecraft to teach computational thinking skills and help bring an art curriculum alive.
