Nature Photography - Explore McClellan Ranch

A picture is worth a thousand words, or as Ansel Adams more eloquently stated " A true photograph need not be explained, nor can it be contained in words." Participants will explore the natural beauty of McClellan Ranch Preserve and learn to see the world through a photographer's lens. Beginning with a brief exploration of the history of photography, followed by an examination of amateur and professional photographic artwork, you will discover the essential elements that comprise visually stunning images. Then, venture into McClellan Ranch on a casual stroll in search of inspiring images. Participants should plan to bring a camera or phone for photography. Children 16 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian also registered for the class.
