Sensory Splash is designed for individuals with special needs and their families to visit The Wave in a calm, sensory-friendly environment. Offered each month from October through April, Sensory Splash takes place in our indoor Natatorium pool. The music will be turned off, and whistles will only be used by lifeguards in emergencies. Sensory-friendly toys and a designated quiet space will be provided. We aim to help our friends with special needs and their families enjoy recreational swimming in a calm environment.
Online pre-registration is required, as participation will be limited. Each participant must have a caregiver within arms reach in the water at all times.
