“Reminiscence Therapy” for individuals dealing with memory impairment utilizes photos from earlier stages of life to unlock long-term memory and trigger meaningful conversations. You will create your very own memory book from start to finish. You will learn how to sort old photos and select images that positively depict special moments, how to scan photos and slides, and how to transfer home movies electronically, yielding digital files to be used to create “memory books”, slideshows and short videos. You’ll also learn how to interview a parent, spouse or loved one about interesting moments in life, record it and use those recollections in print and audio formats to create a great keepsake to hand down to kids and grandkids!
