Beginners Adult - Hula - Polynesian Dance

Express Meaning through Polynesian Hula Dance

Presented by Gilroy Recreation

Government-Organized

Officially recognized by the local government

Join us in learning the steps to Polynesian dancing. Hula uses the entire body to express the meaning of the dance: hands, feet, and eyes, all postures that have a place in storytelling. Please bring a Hula Pau skirt or wrap if you have one or you may purchase one from the instructor. No special shoes necessary; we dance bare foot.
