K-3 Camp Themes (Green Ivy Silicon Valley Campus) - Featuring a bilingual experience with activities in Spanish and Mandarin!Campers will learn Mandarin through the lens of inquiry as they engage in hands-on activities that explore scientific discoveries, visual and performing arts, and culinary experiences from around the world. This camp is for new learners of Mandarin as well as children with a Mandarin language background who want to maintain or improve their language development. Some portions may be taught in English depending on the specialists or as appropriate for our learners. Session 1: JUNE 17 TO JUNE 28 | Shining on the Stage | Let the adventure begin! Our campers will embark on a journey of personal, social, and emotional development, making friends and unforgettable memories along the way. Session 2: JULY 1 TO JULY 12 | The Art of Language | Dive into a summer of language exploration and fun! Campers will boost their communication, language, and literacy skills in Mandarin or Spanish, all while having an unforgettable linguistic adventure! Session 3: JULY 15 TO JULY 26 | A Bit of China | Get ready! Get Set! Discover! It’s a summer adventure where campers delve into activities that cultivate knowledge and gain a deeper understanding of the world around them. Session 4: JULY 29 TO AUGUST 2 | Moving Body, Healthy Body | It's time to move, play, and have a blast this summer! Campers will focus on enhancing their physical development through engaging activities, games, and exercises.
