Foster Empathy Through Hands-On Giving

This is a service project designed to distribute food, essentials, hygeine kits and clothing to as many homeless people as possible. We meet up and assemble meals, essentials kits and hygeine kits. After assembly we will drive to San Francisco and distribute what we have assembled. Families are welcome to make donations. Blankets and warm clothes are appreciated.

Children are not required to interact with homeless people (most do). Parents are welcome to acompany kids for any part or all of these sessions. This is a great opportunity for kids to not only give in a personal way but to also see first hand the humanity and struggle that some people face. It gives an incredible experience to build empathy for our fellow human beings. 100% of session fees go to the homeless. I don't make a penny (and usually spend hundreds of dollars).
