We will be using Scratch (developed at MIT)  to introduce curious kids to the world of coding through the use of animation, music and games. Scratch/Snap! are drag and drop coding platforms that set the foundation for logical thinking - an essential skill that contributes to success in school, sports, and in today's tech-driven world.Students will gain general skills like problem solving, teamwork, code debugging, and perhaps most importantly, will learn and practice the logical thinking skills required to program a computer at any level!  In addition students will gain and practice important coding concepts including:- Variables, Loops, If/Then Logic, Cartesian Coordinates and Sprite Movement.
