miniature world of Mausritter, the Forgotten Realms of Dungeons and Dragons, and more!
(We might even test our math and reading skills along the way.)

Magic the Gathering Card Game for Advanced Players Grades 3-7

A course for kids already into Magic the Gathering. We'll take a deep dive into the
complexities within different rules and play styles in Magic. Kids will test their math, reading,
and problem solving abilities while drafting their own deck of cards to take home, as well as
puzzling over Magic riddles and rulings. We will accept returning 7th graders in this class.

This is a more in depth game of D&D and the class is 2 hours long.

The Game Academy’s Enrichment Gaming Programs explore collaborative storytelling in a mentorship model to foster empathy, communication, critical thinking, creativity, and cooperative problem-solving. Students are engaged through a story that presents tactical challenges to be overcome, puzzles to be solved, as well as social role-play engagements that provide an opportunity for the social and emotional development of participants.
