We are a group of parent volunteers with a love for Hindi language, united by a desire to teach it to young children as a tool to expand their understanding and knowledge of Indian norms and culture, help bridge inter-generational communication gap with elderly family members, and develop bilingual skills.
This course for children (7-9) focuses on the basics of reading, writing, and speaking Hindi. Spanning three quarters to align with the school year, the course is offered in a fun interactive environment using engaging materials and a mix of social/cultural activities that invoke the traditions and ethos of the Indian subcontinent.
Material Fee: One time fee of $50 is due to the Instructor on the first of class. Checks are payable to the Indian Community Center (ICC).
