Set in Los Altos' backyard, Redwood Grove Nature Preserve is the perfect setting for an introduction or enhancement of a love of nature, ecology, and stewardship concepts. Redwood Grove summer campers explore our natural environment through hands-on activities such as games, songs, hikes, arts and crafts, led by an enthusiastic staff in this nature-based camp. Activities and lessons for each camp are age-appropriate.
Required for ALL Redwood Grove Camp Sessions:
1.All participants should wear their camp T-shirt (handed out Monday), play clothes, and closed-toe shoes every day.
2. Parents must fill out a City of Los Altos medical release form prior to the beginning of camp. Please go to LosAltosRecreation.org to download a form. Please bring a hard copy on the first day of camp. Forms are not accepted earlier then the first day of camp.
3. Please send your camper with a water bottle, "trash free" snack and a lunch.
4. Sunscreen and bug spray recommended daily. Please apply before arrival.
5. Calendars detailing each week's activities will be given out at the start of each week.
There are no upcoming sessions at this time. Please check back later. In the meantime, you can browse other activities.
