In this camp, students will be introduced to text-based programming and creative coding using P5 JavaScript. JavaScript is a versatile language and coding with the p5.js library presents endless possibilities of what students can create. Students will learn computer programming fundamentals such as conditionals, loops, functions, and objects. They will apply these concepts to make games, digital designs, and animations. On the last day of the camp, students will solve coding challenges and will receive prizes upon completion. Beginners to advanced, all skill levels are welcome. Those who took the class last year can enroll; we have all new projects this year.
Please Note:
- Participants should bring a laptop. AllCode Academy will provide a laptop if you are unable to bring one.
- Bring snacks and a bottle of water.
