Adventure Camp provides a fun, safe environment for campers to explore John F. Kennedy Park on foot, on wheels, and through special guests and events. Campers will learn about native plants, animals, and birds, participate in special events, and meet local guests with cool jobs! Of course, it's not camp without making new friends, playing fun games, learning archery, STEM projects, making arts and crafts, and so much more! New this year, campers will receive a camp shirt on the first day of each week they attend camp. We will tie dye the shirt and they will get to wear it to camp later in the week and keep and continue wearing after camp is over! Adventure Camp will also spend one day a week at a local school site for swimming and the day's activities.

This year, Thursdays at Adventure Camp will be spent at Napa High School! Campers will spend the morning on the on campus doing prescheduled activities and games. Then after lunch campers will have the choice of participating in recreational swim time at the Napa High pool or continuing their day with other, non-swimming activities. Camp staff as well as aquatics staff will be on site, provide swim tests and lifeguard for the entire time campers are at the pool. Those who do not want to swim will not be required to be in the pool or on the pool deck as we will have separate staff available during this time as well.

Please note that on Thursdays pick up and drop off will be at Napa High School, 2475 Jefferson St. Napa, Ca 94558. A map with specific locations to sign your child in and out will be provided as your camp date gets closer.

Please send your camper with 2 snacks, a lunch, personal sanitizer, sunscreen and plenty of water as we will be outdoors almost all day, every day. Please make sure that everything is labeled with first and last names.

We know your schedules are busy which is why we are offering extended care options for both Camp Napa and Adventure Camp. For an additional fee, you can register your child for early drop off (no earlier than 8am) and late pick up (no later than 5pm). This time will not be programed like our camp hours (9am-4pm) will be, but rather self-directed activities and projects. These are weekly programs; daily participation is not available at this time. Make sure to pre-register so your camper can share more of their summer days with us! Extended care options can be selected during the checkout process and cannot be changed without removing your child from camp and then re-enrolling.

For tax purposes, our tax ID number is: 94 – 6000380
