This free community event takes place on Saturday, May 4th at Scottsdale Pond in Novato from 8am-12pm. This event is geared towards children ages 6-15 years old, and all participants must be accompanied by an adult. Participants must complete a 45 minute Learn to Fish clinic that features educational displays and mini workshops in order to borrow bait, tackle, and rods. Once they have completed the clinic they may fish until 12pm.

Pre-registration for a timeslot is encouraged, however drop-ins will be taken if space is available. Ages 16 and up need to have a valid California Fishing License.
