Join us for a heartfelt community event as Chef Tu David Phu returns to Oakland, the place where his culinary journey began. In partnership with the Oakland Public Library and the Oakland Asian Cultural Center, Chef Tu David Phu will celebrate the release of his new book,

THE MEMORY OF TASTE, with an insightful panel discussion centered around diasporic communities and their food, featuring Soleil Ho and other distinguished speakers. Followed by a raffle with exciting prizes including five copies of The Memory of Taste

This event is a tribute to the vibrant Oakland community and its profound impact on Chef Tu David Phu’s life and career. Let’s come together to celebrate food, culture, and community in the heart of Oakland.
