Family Paths is a Community Based focus organization, which offers therapy for adults, couples, and children; in addition, we offer services to adults, which may not be the biological birth parent, but hold a caregiving role with a child. Family paths has been in the City of Oakland for 50 years and is offering their services as a referral resource. Learn more and chat with Family Paths in person.
About Family Paths: We provide therapy which is typically focused on building healthy ways to
manage the stress in a parent life and make good choices even when faced
with the
challenges that life brings their way. We help parents find ways to take
care of themselves, tap into their support network, and heal from past
traumas that might be impacting their relationships with family,
friends, or ability to work. We
can also work with individuals, and couples to develop better
communication skills, work on parenting challenges, and improve family
relationships.
Payment Options:
Sliding scale based on family income: Alameda Alliance Medi-Cal/Beacon (call for eligibility); approved Victims
of Crime funding, CalWORKs (with authorization)
Additional qualifications may apply. Please call our Parenting Stress Helpline at 800-829-3777 for more information.
