Oaxacan Hot Chocolate - Ancestral Rituals - Sip & Remember

Using the ancestral tools of Rufi’s Cacao, they will showcase how they get down in the kitchen to bring you Oaxacan hot chocolate– perfectly balanced between the richness of spices and dark chocolate notes that represent the culture and nostalgia of Oaxaca. They work intentionally with farmers in Latin America, and more specifically Mexico, who are focused on preserving the agriculture of Cacao. You’ll taste a freshly made Oaxacan hot chocolate and dip their staple Pan de Muerto. Learn the history and significance of chocolate in rituals that honor the dead in memory of our ancestors, and enjoy the sabores de Oaxaca.

Usando los utensilios de cocina ancestrales de Rufi's Cacao, mostrarán cómo se prepara el chocolate caliente oaxaqueño, perfectamente equilibrado entre la riqueza de las especies y las notas de chocolate amargo que representan la cultura y la nostalgia de Oaxaca. Trabajan intencionalmente con agricultores de Latino America, y específicamente de México, quienes están enfocados en preservar la agricultura del Cacao. Tendrás la oportunidad de probar un chocolate caliente oaxaqueño recién hecho, y remojar su tradicional Pan de Muerto. Aprende la historia y el significado del chocolate en los rituales que honran a los muertos en memoria de nuestros antepasados y disfruta los sabores de Oaxaca.
