Do you like playing Pokemon or Magic the Gathering? Come join us at the Lakeview branch to learn Pantheon, a brand new card game created by Oakland locals Kash and Ram. They will be teaching their game the last Saturdays of the month @ 1pm.

Ram and Kash are co-founders of an Oakland-based startup dedicated to creating engaging and culturally rich card games. Their latest project, Pantheon, is inspired by African mythology, aiming to bring diverse stories and characters to life.

Kash and Ram started the Pantheon Card Game while working on artwork featuring happy Black families. Inspired by the idea of celebrating and sharing African cultures, they combined their passion for art with the goal of creating a fun and educational card game. Pantheon brings African mythology to life, offering players an engaging way to connect with their heritage.

This library does not have a bathroom. Bathroom facilities can be found outside the library, adjacent to the nearby park.
