Fun and engaging healthy cooking classes designed just for kids! Over 4 exciting weekly sessions, young chefs will embark on a culinary adventure, learning to follow recipes and master basic cooking techniques. They’ll explore healthy proteins, whole grains, colorful veggies, and become sugar savvy. Through hands-on cooking and tasty recipes, kids will discover new flavors and learn about healthier food choices. Kids often prefer salty and sweet processed foods, but in these classes, we explore the five main tastes—sweet, sour, salty, bitter, and umami—to expand their flavor horizons and curiosity about food. Emphasizing mindful eating, these classes foster independence and confidence as kids explore ingredients, nutrition, and the joy of preparing and sharing wholesome meals. Let’s cook, learn, and have fun together in a safe, encouraging environment!
This program requires a $25 materials fee for each participant. This fee is separate from the listed cost of the program, and is to be paid to the instructor on the first day of class.
