Camp Orinda: Counselor in Training (CIT) Camp is back for another year! This summer, it will be offered in weeks 8 and 9. This camp is perfect for teens interested in developing their leadership skills and being a camp counselor themselves one day! CIT Camp focuses on leadership, volunteerism, and fun, and our trained camp staff will guide CITs through an entire week of Camp Orinda activities to better prepare them to be successful leaders in our community and beyond!

CITs will assist camp counselors in leading daily activities and games with campers, and CITs will attend Camp Orinda’s weekly field trip to have some fun of their own! CITs will also write a mock camp curriculum and a short essay detailing what they learned from their camp experience and how they can utilize leadership and volunteerism in future academic or extracurricular activities.
