More and more students are choosing to take a Gap Year between high school and college, and also while in college. They are trying out new interests, finding internships, traveling, and engaging in other experiences which increase confidence, independence, maturity and college readiness.

Join Katherine Stievater, Founder of Gap Year Solutions, for a presentation and Q&A about why students choose to take a Gap Year, and how to plan transformational and purposeful Gap time on any budget.

Katherine Stievater founded Gap Year Solutions 10 years ago to help students successfully transition to college and build important life skills. She works with students across the U.S. to structure internships, work, service, travel and other activities into a customized plan. Her approach creates trust and powerful mentoring relationships with students. Based in Boston, MA, Katherine has four sons who have taken Gap Years, is an Accredited Gap Year Consultant, and a Professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association. Katherine speaks and publishes regularly about the profound impact that Gap Years can have on young adults. 4. Gap Year
