Using drama, pretend play and role-playing, students work together to build new skills that help them become better social thinkers. Some of the skills taught include: friendly greetings, self-calming strategies, flexible thinking, exploring feelings of shyness, sharing, fair play, compassion, empathy, and collaborative play. Our teachers are trained in theater education and SEL, but are not therapists. Participants should be able to participate in class safely without a parent/aid, and to be able to communicate with the teachers without parent/aide help. This class has 10 students max with 2 teachers. Location: SCCT Studio, 1314 Old Country Road, Belmont. No class 10/12 & 11/9.
