Minecraft Coding and Design - Game Design, Animation, and Programming - Athena

Minecraft isn't just the world's most popular game; it's also an excellent tool for teaching a wide array of subjects. At Athena, we've developed a project based approach to a variety of important topics using Minecraft Educational; our course will cover personalized game design, animation, and storytelling, programming in Python, JavaScript, architecture and design. Students will learn the fundamentals of electrical circuitry using Minecraft's patented Redstone circuit system, logic gates, multi-system mechanisms, modding and more. At the end of each class, students take home a freshly minted 3D-printed model of one of their designs. Bring own laptop, chrome book, or iPad or rent one for a one-time payment for $40 for the session. No 10/14.
