Celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., a great American leader, and honor his lifelong work toward equality and peace. The celebration includes live entertainment, student oratorical contest, crafts for kids, and light refreshments. Students attending San Leandro schools between the 3rd and 12th grades are encouraged to participate in the Oratorical Festival and Poetry Slam. The event is free of charge and open to the public.
