FLEX RIDES is excited to partner with AC Transit’s Accessible Services Department to offer a FREE service for marking or installing tether straps on mobility devices. The mobility device Marking and Tether Strap Program provides identification of key securement points on all types of mobility aids, increased accessibility of public transit vehicles to individuals using ALL types of mobility aids and many more benefits! Join us to ask any questions you might have, learn about the services provided and get your mobility devices marked.
An appointment is required for wheelchair marking/strapping. Please call 1 (510) 891-7113 to schedule an appointment.
AC Transit’s Accessible Services Department will be issuing free senior Clipper Cards for individuals ages 65+! A valid ID to confirm date of birth is required to sign up for a free Clipper Card. Drop in to ask any questions you might have and to sign up for a FREE Clipper Card. Senior Clipper cards are issued with no cash value. Fares can be added at BART fare machines or other select locations. Ride fees charged to Senior Clipper Cards will reflect a discounted rate.
