“PICTURING COYOTE VALLEY” PHOTO CONTEST WINNERS ANNOUNCED
The public is invited to vote for “People’s Choice Award” by attending Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority Open House Events
What:
Join the Santa Clara Valley Open Space Authority at their series of “Understanding Coyote Valley” Open House Events to learn about the Coyote Valley Conservation Areas Master Plan and findings from the Understanding Coyote Valley report. The winning photographs from the Coyote Valley Photo Contest will be showcased at these events and attendees will have the opportunity to cast their vote for the “People’s Choice Award” photo.
From May 2 to July 22, individuals of all ages were invited to participate in the "Picturing Coyote Valley" photo contest which encouraged community members to share digital photos that captured the diversity of Coyote Valley's natural and rural landscape. The contest received 168 entries across six categories and a panel of judges worked to score each piece. The winners have been selected, however, people can vote for their favorite to win the "People's Choice Award" by attending an open house event.
