ClimateFest is an action packed day of experiential workshops, inspirational talks, art and community building and political empowerment to create a vibrant future together. State Senator John Laird will speak at noon about how our voice can make a difference.
ClimateFest will feature live music, food, art, eco-fashion, kids activities and spiritual offerings by various fatih leaders in the community. Attendees will learn how to advocate for climate action, find out about home electrification, how regenerative agriculture can change the climate, engage in creative and experiential workshops, get tips on plant-based eating and experience a sense of community with many faith traditions.
What makes ClimateFest unique is our intention to inspire action from a place of spiritual presence.. The hope is to engage and empower people by supporting everyone to touch into their deepest values of care for the planet and each other.
It is a celebration and communion of different traditions and perspectives in this time of polarization. And while this is an interfaith event, everyone is welcome, regardless of whether you are part of a faith tradition or not…this is an offering to the wider community to create a more life-affirming world!
In addition, about 15 climate-action community organizations will be present to share information about how to engage in positive activities that support our environment.
