Join in the Parks & Recreation Annual Parks for Pollinators BioBlitz to learn about local pollinators and plants as well as what you can do to support pollinators in our community. The BioBlitz takes place on September 28 from 9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Everett N. Eddie Souza Park & Community Garden, 2380 Monroe Street.
Our BioBlitz event is comprised of parks staff, volunteers and members of the community working together to create a snapshot of the variety of life that can be found at the park. For the Parks for Pollinators BioBlitz, we utilize the iNaturalist platform. Participants download the app on a smart device and use it to take pictures during the event and learn about what they find.
High Schoolers will get community service hours for their participation. Bring you School Community Service forms!
