The student-led organizations, 3D Collectives and FRC Team 649, are hosting two beginner workshops on 3D Printing & CAD. Participants in our first session will learn all about basic CADing in Onshape by modeling a car, and receive this printed car on the same day. Participants in our second session will learn the 3D printing software Cura through demonstrations on how to slice 3D objects as well as a lecture on 3D printing hardware, including types of 3D printers, operation, troubleshooting, anatomy, etc.

By registering, you agree to attend both workshops (11/17 and 11/24). All skill levels are welcome. Attendance is restricted to those 13 years & older.

**All participants must bring their own computers and install the required software (Onshape & Cura) before the workshops. Instructions will be sent out prior to the first workshop.

This activity is presented by Santa Clara County Library and scheduled to take place on Sunday 11/17 from 8a-9a at Santa Clara County Library - Los Altos Library. For more information, click "Participate" to visit the website of Santa Clara County Library.
