Music Lab - Create Unique Instruments - Gilroy Library

Calling all creative minds in grades 3-5! We’re thrilled to invite you to our Music Lab program every Tuesday in November, starting November 5th, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Nest at the Gilroy Library!

In this hands-on program, participants will create three unique musical instruments—a percussive instrument, a string instrument, and a wind instrument. We’ll explore the fascinating world of sound and music through fun demonstrations that cover vibrations, pitch, amplitude, and waves. Think like a scientist and a musician as you discover the physics behind music!

Important Information:

• Who: Grades 3-5
• When: Every Tuesday in November (11/5, 11/12, 11/19, 11/26)
• Time: 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
• Where: The Nest
• Registration: Please register in person at the Children’s Information Desk. Participants must commit to attending all sessions in the series.

And the best part? You’ll get to take home your amazing instruments after the final session on November 26th!
