We’re excited to host a chapter of The Little Flippers at PPM! The Little Flippers is a network of kids who gather to learn the hobby, recreation and/or sport of pinball. We were inspired by the program atThe Flipper Roompinball arcade and gallery in Concord, CA, and learned of the multiple chapters across the US.
Our chapter meets in our museum on selected Saturdays. Sessions open with brief lessons on pinball history and fundamentals like flipper skills and good sporting behavior. Following the lesson, kids will spend some time practicing and competing with one another. All kids ages 5-12 are welcome. No pinball experience is necessary, each session is tailored to the group on a given day.
Our Instructor & Facilitator is PPM member and volunteer Scott Weigum. Scott is a credentialed special education teacher and avid pinball player. Our goal is to share some skills that can make the game more enjoyable and introduce a new generation to the world of pinball.
To participate, simply visit the museum during a session. Participation is covered by your paid admission, there’s no additional cost to join. Parents/guardians must remain on site for the session and are welcome to attend and observe.
This activity is presented by Scott Weigum and scheduled to take place on and Saturday 12/7 from 11:30a-12:30p at Pacific Pinball Museum, Pacific Pinball Museum, Webster Street, Alameda, CA. For more information, click "Participate" to visit the website of Scott Weigum.
