Laser Cut Animals - Create Silhouette Models - In-Person

Create a silhouette model of your favorite animal using laser cutting! We’ll start with a group discussion about which animal best represents each of us. Then we’ll find or draw an animal outline design we each like. We’ll adapt it using simple line drawing software (Inkscape), to enable us to laser cut our personalized animal outline out of plywood. Then, we’ll make a simple base for it. As time allows, we can color and decorate them, and even learn how to adapt our design to make stencils for painting, key rings for gifts, and more. This is a fun, easy way to gain experience with basic design software and the use of precision maker tools. No previous experience necessary.
