Tandem Kayak Tour - Self Guided - Lake Merced

Take a self guided Tandem Kayak tour of beautiful lake Merced. Explore the beautiful Lake Merced by kayak and see diverse wildlife and natural areas of this freshwater lake. Please note that participation in this class requires individual registration for each participant, regardless of age. Children under the age of 12 must be registered and be accompanied by a registered adult. Availability of tandem kayaks is limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis for one-hour self-guided tours. Please be aware that individuals who do not register their partner will be paired with another single participant to share a tandem kayak, as single participant kayaks are not available. Additionally, release waivers must be signed on the day of paddling, and participants are required to watch instructional videos prior to their registered time, which will be emailed to them the week before their scheduled session. Please keep in mind you may get wet while participating in this activity so bringing a change of clothing is a good idea.
