Drawing & Painting - Tweens - The Elements of Art

Come explore the elements of art through drawing and painting in this fun, one-of-a-kind art class! Here we will experiment with foundational elements of art such as line, shape, value, and form while taking visual information and inspiration from striking images. On our journey we will play with imagery from nature, objects from everyday life, and cartoon-inspired art--while creating unique representational and abstract artwork. This class aids in the development of visual art skills, which can deepen secondary visual arts education.
