Open Shop is an opportunity for more experienced woodworkers to pursue their own projects in our shop under moderate supervision. Instruction building upon foundational skills is available. Projects are subject to instructor approval. Wood is purchased by students; materials & project storage is limited. Prerequisite: Successful completion of two Woodworking I classes at the Randall Museum within the last three years, plus instructor approval. Please note that the first meeting will be devoted to a mandatory safetyrefresher course and written test. A $10 materials fee is due to the instructor on the first day of class. Students who have not met prerequisites will be withdrawn and charged a 20% refund processing fee.
